Most workers are protected from the dangers of secondhand smoke exposure due to the strict laws in New York State.  Unfortunately, that same protection does not exist for residents of multi-unit dwellings such as apartments, co-ops, condos and even some dormitories.  Therefore, TAC has launched a "Smoke Free Housing" initiative working with landlords and tenants to create smoke free policies for apartments and other multi-unit dwellings.
